Terms of Use

The rules for using SeniorLeaf: what we are and aren't, how listings work, and how disputes are settled.

Effective October 21, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Loca US, Corp., which runs SeniorLeaf ("SeniorLeaf", "we", "us"). They apply to seniorleaf.com and the SeniorLeaf app. By using either, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use SeniorLeaf.

You must be 18 or older to send an inquiry. Providers who list on SeniorLeaf agree to separate partner terms.

2. What SeniorLeaf is, and isn't

SeniorLeaf is an information service. We help you find senior care communities, care services and care professionals, compare them, and contact them.

We do not provide care, employ caregivers, place residents, or act as a referral agency or broker. We don't inspect, license, endorse or guarantee any provider. Choosing a provider is your decision; visit, ask questions and check their license with your state before you sign anything or pay.

Nothing on SeniorLeaf is medical, legal, financial or benefits advice. If someone is in danger or has a medical emergency, call 911.

3. Listings and prices

Listings are built from public sources, such as state licensing records, and from what providers tell us. Prices, services, license status, photos and availability can be wrong or out of date, and a provider can change them at any time. Price figures are estimates, not quotes.

If you see something wrong, email support@seniorleaf.com and we'll look at it.

4. How SeniorLeaf is paid

SeniorLeaf is free for families. Providers do not pay us a referral fee when you send them an inquiry or when you move in. If we ever show a listing because a provider paid for it, we will label it and update these terms first.

5. Inquiries

When you send an inquiry, you ask us to pass your details to the provider you chose. Only send information about someone else if you have their permission to do so. Give accurate contact details, and don't use the form to sell, spam or harass.

The provider decides whether and how to reply; we don't guarantee a response, a place or a price. SeniorLeaf will never ask you to pay a deposit, by gift card, wire or otherwise. If anyone claiming to be SeniorLeaf does, it's a scam.

6. The AI search assistant

The search assistant uses AI to understand your question and then shows listings from our directory. It can misunderstand you, miss a provider, or say something inaccurate. Check anything important with the provider or a professional. Don't use it in an emergency.

Don't try to make it produce harmful content, reveal its instructions, or answer things unrelated to finding care. We may limit how many questions it answers.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy listings in bulk, or scrape, crawl or mirror the site except as a search engine following our robots.txt;
  • overload, probe or get around the site's security or rate limits;
  • send false inquiries, pose as someone else, or send anything unlawful, abusive or discriminatory;
  • use SeniorLeaf to discriminate in housing, which fair housing laws forbid.

We may block access or refuse inquiries that break these rules.

8. Our content and yours

The SeniorLeaf name, logo, design and the way our directory is put together belong to us. Provider content belongs to the provider, and public records stay public. You may share links and print pages for personal use.

You keep what you write in an inquiry; you let us store it and send it to the provider you chose. If you think something on SeniorLeaf infringes your copyright, email support@seniorleaf.com with the work, where it appears, and your contact details.

9. Links to other sites

We link to provider websites, government resources and maps. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them; their own terms apply.

10. Disclaimers

SeniorLeaf is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the site is accurate, complete, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for the care, conduct, prices or contracts of any provider.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, SeniorLeaf is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for anything a provider does or fails to do. Our total liability for any claim about SeniorLeaf is limited to $100. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

12. Disputes and arbitration

Please email us first: most problems can be fixed quickly. If we can't resolve a dispute within 60 days, you and SeniorLeaf agree to settle it by binding individual arbitration in Travis County, Texas, under the American Arbitration Association's consumer rules, instead of in court. Either of you may still bring a claim in small claims court.

No class actions. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective or representative action.

You can opt out of arbitration by emailing support@seniorleaf.com within 30 days of first using SeniorLeaf, with your name and the words "arbitration opt-out".

13. Governing law

The laws of the State of Texas govern these terms, apart from conflict-of-law rules. Any court case allowed by these terms is heard in the state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We change the date at the top and add a line to the version history below; using SeniorLeaf after that means you accept the new terms. Changes don't apply to a dispute that already started. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
